: The Self-Publishing Manual: How to Write, Print, and Sell Your Own Book, 15th Edition

I have been a fan of Dan Poynter for many years and recommend anyone interesting in self-publishing books to buy Dan's Self-Publishing Manual. Self-publishing does make sense as Dan says in his many books, if you break each publishing step into smaller steps. Dan should know as he has over 80 self-published books to prove that you don't have to be a big publisher to succeed at publishing. Dan sells 10,000-20,000 copies a year of just one book and many of his books are on the best sellers list.  What makes Dan's books so appealing is his enthusiasm and willingness to show others how to create their product, start their own publishing company, print and announce their books, as well as how to price their books, give discounts, promote their books and most importantly how to keep most of the profits from the sale of your book.

Very imaginative, Dan has created his own radio show (podcast feed available also) called Publishing Poynters Radio ( PPN), created by self-publishers for self-publishers. http://www.parapublishing.com/sites/para/resources/pubradio.cfm Dan also has created several interesting videos. See one below. It is always inspirational to pick up one of Dan's books on self-publishing because if he can self-publish, so can you.
